We set out to write about the benefits of authentic leadership but after we dug a bit, we discovered there may be a means by which leaders may augment their leadership capacity.
Essentially, instead of a leader pseudo-caring or implementing the latest and greatest “touchy-feely” initiative to get employees more engaged - perhaps they should surround themselves with people who genuinely believe in the initiative - that way they can be true to themselves, maintain integrity, while still meeting the needs of their team.
